About Westlake
- Westlake Boys
- Westlake Boys High School is located to the west of Lake Pupuke, a small caldera produced by volcanic activity. The school overlooks the lake and the main shipping channel to Rangitoto Island. Adjacent is our sister school, Westlake Girls High School. Westlake Boys High School is traditional and progressive in its outlook and has earned a proud record for academic, sporting and cultural achievement. Parents on the North Shore are eager to enrol their sons at our school. The school strongly encourages students and their families to pursue sporting and cultural opportunities available. These facilities include: Art rooms for the visually creative, specialist Graphics rooms, Technology workshops, 12 new Science Laboratories, an ESOL centre for English language development, an expanded computer networked Library with Internet access and extensive sports fields.
