- Westlake Boys High School is located to the west of Lake Pupuke, a small caldera produced by volcanic activity. The school overlooks the lake and the main shipping channel to Rangitoto Island. Adjacent is our sister school, Westlake Girls High School. Westlake Boys High School is traditional and progressive in its outlook and has earned a proud record for academic, sporting and cultural achievement.
